C.W. “Chip” Underwood of RE/MAX Commonwealth has 16 years in the Real Estate industry, and over 18 years in the building and construction industry. He has represented clients throughout the Central Virginia area in the counties of Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, New Kent, King William, Goochland, and Louisa.
Born in Henrico and residing in Hanover, Chip has a deep background in the building and maintenance industry. From working with builders during the summer to his Master’s Electrical license and estimation/appraisal classes, “Chip Knows Homes” and knows how they are built. He has the knowledge to help buyers and sellers make an important decisions on their way to the closing table and the American dream.

Chip and his wife of 25 years, Vicki, love Virginia with all its history, mountains, lakes, rivers, and the Atlantic Ocean. They enjoy watching and helping their children, Brant & Shelly, and their grandchildren as they venture through life. Brant (JMU) and his wife, Dana (Penn State) have just purchased their 2°’ home and love camping, hiking, skiing, and outdoor living. Shelly (VA Tech) owns a rental home and will be working on our family farm in Louisa County (Holly Hill Farm). She loves animals, hiking, fishing, and the great outdoors.
